At the ES level, PTSA:
- organizes and sponsors Fall and Spring Pictures
- supplies the Incentive Station to reward students for reading and completing the Reading Counts Quizzes
- collects Box Tops to fund the Incentive Station and the Kindergarten program “Read to Your Bunny”
- coordinates the Scholastic Book Club orders to provide access to books to all our students.
- Last year we were able to bring the Classic Fairy Tale Theater Company to perform for the entire elementary school as well as a children's author, David Greenberg. Both of these opportunities were orchestrated and financially aided by PTSA.
- PTSA provides funding to teachers for student enrichment activities including special classroom supplies, play scripts, and technological equipment to improve the educational opportunities for students. In 2006-2007, PTSA purchased mounting brackets for In-Focus machines, digital imaging equipment, die cut sets, classroom paints, and more!
